Woven Wisdom - Kenya

Each piece is born in Kenya—sourced and handcrafted with care, guided by the highest ethical standards. Every thread reflects reverence for traditional techniques, timeless form, and the hands that bring them to life.

Our sustainable cotton is grown by smallholder farmers in Lamu and woven by Sun Flag, one of Kenya’s oldest independent textile mills. Garments and hats are hand-sewn by Soko, a woman-owned sustainable clothing maker in Malindi, committed to fair wages and dignified work. Bags are crafted by Ikwetta, a women-led artisan collective in Nairobi, dedicated to local craft.

The intricate glass beadwork—created with the Samburu Trust in Northern Kenya—is the soul of each piece. Passed from mother to daughter, this ancestral artistry lives through the hands of Samburu “mamas,” whose vibrant, layered designs carry stories and spirit. For over 20 years, the Trust’s beading project has empowered women to support their families and sustain a life rooted in traditions.

Each item is one-of-a-kind. Subtle variations are the quiet mark of the maker's hand—and a celebration of the handmade.
