Handwoven in Ecuador by women artisans, this hat is crafted from 100% natural Toquilla straw, a self-regenerating palm known for its sustainability. The weave is tight yet breathable, flexible yet sturdy—making it easy to pack and wear anywhere. With a UPF rating of 40+, it offers protection as well as timeless style. The band is fashioned from vibrant Kanga fabric, long worn by East African women, where each bold pattern carries unspoken meaning: a visual language of strength, resilience, and joy.
Each hat band is crafted from assorted colors of Kanga fabric and is one of a kind.
